Team SY

TEAM SY is an ERDF part-funded project delivered by Capital Enterprise and Barnsley Council. It stands for Tech Ecosystem Acceleration and Market-Making South Yorkshire. Over the next two years until June 2023, we will be working to bring new pre-accelerator and accelerator programmes to the region, and support existing programmes. 

We’re also working to “join up” the South Yorkshire tech ecosystem so that tech and digital entrepreneurs are embedded in a thriving environment. We have a variety of different activities and programmes, from standalone programmes and venture-builders, to incubation and acceleration. Our programmes are across a range of different verticals and sectors including AI, EdTech, IoT, Gov Tech and more. 

Everything is always free at the point of delivery, and companies have to be SMEs and need to have a registered office or trading address in South Yorkshire. An up to date list can be found on the dedicated TEAM SY website.
